Start by reading Psalm 1, and Mark 9:30-37

I wanted you to start out by reading Psalm 1 for two verses.

3 They [the people who love the Lord] are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper.
4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

Happy Mother’s Day!!

Start by reading 2 Timothy 1:3-7

This devotion is being written post Mother’s Day 2012.  I hope everyone had a blessed and happy Mother’s Day.

As I was thinking about Mother’s Day, I started thinking to myself about what roles mothers occupy in our lives.  I should also say that it isn’t just about being a mother, but this is about what parents do as well.
